I can t figure out how to move a single anchor point. I'm used to Illustrator. Can't find the answer to my specific question. see image: How to I move the circled corner anchor point (that one only) to where the arrow is?

It was a rectangle that needed expanding first!

For future reference, in Affinity-speak what you were calling anchor points are called nodes. Anchor points have other meanings in Affinity, for example to refer to the 9 anchor points in the Transform panel.

Expand may not be the right command for simple rectangle. Convert to Curves works fine.

Ctrl+Enter (mentioned above) is the shortcut for Convert to Curves, I think. (Away from my computer right now, so can't check.)
