Custom brush stroke ends in Vector mode have a squiggly tail? Please help.

Hi All,

I've been using Affinity Designer for the Ipad 8 and notice when I use the Paintbrush tool with any brush other than the Default brush, the stroke head and end have these weird squiggly tails that extend past the the top and end of the stroke? I'm unable to use any custom Brushes in Vector mode for this reason. I've tried adjusting the Stroke settings but nothing seems to work. I've attached a video of the problem.

I have not been able to replicate this issue on my iPad are use using a Pencil, touch or mouse/trackpad to draw the line.

I have the exact same problem at least with the grave etcher and chunky markers brush with the vector brush tool
