MattRush Posted July 8, 2021 Posted July 8, 2021 I would like to take the brightest out the street light that's in the centre of Buckingham palace but I dont know how? Any suggestions? Quote
Dan C Posted July 8, 2021 Posted July 8, 2021 Hi @MattRush, Welcome to the Affinity Forums It's a little hard to be certain from your screenshot provided, however this is likely possible using a combination of the Inpainting tool and the Clone Brush tool - Could you please upload a copy of the image/.afphoto file shown in your screenshot, so I can provide a screen recording with my suggestions? If you'd like a private upload link for your document, please don't hesitate to let me know and I can arrange this for you! Quote

I used a blue-green circle here: Dan C 1 Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.5.1 (iPad 7th gen)
h_d Posted July 8, 2021 Posted July 8, 2021 Alternatively, use the Flood Select tool with a fairly high Tolerance setting (about 60%?), Contiguous checked. Feather the resulting selection to give a soft, smooth edge and add a Levels adjustment. Dial down Output White to the desired level: Dan C and Alfred 2 Quote Affinity Photo 2.6.3, Affinity Designer 2.6.3 Affinity Publisher 2.6.3, Mac OSX 15.5, 2018 MacBook Pro 15" Intel.
