Outdoorslover Posted July 7, 2021 Posted July 7, 2021 I've come across some really old Adobe Pagemaker documents (from 1997 to 2000) that I'd love to be able to open, and update. Everything that I've found on the internet suggest that I have to download and use Adobe InDesign, to open and convert these documents. I'd rather not install any Adobe software on my computer if I can help it, as it's evil, like Google. Is there any way to do this conversion with Publisher? Or, does anyone know of a conversion tool that they can suggest? Cheers! Quote

Outdoorslover Posted July 7, 2021 Author Posted July 7, 2021 @walt.farrellThanks. I'd already tried it, as well as Adobe's online suite of tools, and none of them can open the documents, including the old Microsoft Word 6 or PDF documents that I created way back when. It may very well be a lost cause. Quote

RM f/g Posted July 9, 2021 Posted July 9, 2021 Outdoorslover My InDesign CS6 opens Pagemaker documents. With the help of Peter Kahrels Batch Convert script I can convert a bunch of Pagemaker files to IDML in one go. These IDML files can than be openend in Publisher. If I can help you out with that, just let me know. Ninjas 1 Quote Macbook Pro mid 2015, 16 GB, double barrel: MacOS Mojave + Affinity 1 (+ Adobe’s CS6)/ MacOS Monterey + Affinity 2
