Gilbert Josse Posted July 7, 2021 Posted July 7, 2021 Can we hope to see the integration of the Nik Collection 3 working on a Mac M1 - Big Sur? And do you have a roadmap for the Nik Collection 4? Thank you. Quote
Staff Lee D Posted July 8, 2021 Staff Posted July 8, 2021 Hi @Gilbert Josse Welcome to the forums. As long as you follow the setup guide by DxO the plugins should be available in Affinity Photo, both 3 and 4. In terms of support running on an M1 Mac, you'll need to wait for DxO to update the plugins, which they don't have any timeframe for at this time, see this support article. Quote
Gilbert Josse Posted July 8, 2021 Author Posted July 8, 2021 Thank you for your reply Lee. I'll be patient. Regards. Quote
Staff MEB Posted July 8, 2021 Staff Posted July 8, 2021 Hi @Gilbert Josse, Welcome to Affinity Forums Go to the Applications folder, right-click the Affinity Photo app, select Get Info then tick Open Using Rosetta in the General section to force Affinity Photo to run as an Intel compatible application instead (to run non-optimized photoshop plugins). You may lose a bit of performance running Photo in emulation mode but it's possible it may not be noticeable depending on the type of work you do with the app. Gilbert Josse 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
