Tyson Warner Posted July 6, 2021 Posted July 6, 2021 I've had a laptop for the past five years (two of which having Designer and Photo), and I just upgraded to a computer. I downloaded both apps on my new PC and tried to put in the product keys, but I wasn't allowed to enter them in. Am I supposed to uninstall the programs from my old laptop first then enter the codes or am I not allowed to switch computers and use the apps? Quote
walt.farrell Posted July 6, 2021 Posted July 6, 2021 You can use the programs on multiple computers as long as they're all the same kind of OS (all Windows or all Mac or all iPad). I'm not sure what you mean by not being "allowed to enter" the product key? Did it complain about the key you entered, or did it not allow you to type the key? Are you sure the key and original email email address were both correct, and that you got the right key with each application? Tyson Warner Posted July 6, 2021 Author Posted July 6, 2021 Thanks for responding for help, I actually just found out what I was doing wrong. I bought the apps through the Microsoft Store (using my yahoo address) and I was signed in into my gmail account. I thought I bought the apps from the website, but I bought the books from there instead. The product keys that I was using were for some trial for each of the apps. Quote

Buchatp Posted August 2, 2021 Posted August 2, 2021 I am also switching computers...I purchased Affinity Designer & Affinity Photo through Apple Store, I don't seem to have the Keycodes for those two products. Will I need the KeyCodes? If so, where do I get those KeyCodes from? Quote

Purchases through the Mac App Store (MAS) are tied to your Apple ID, so no product keys are involved. If you log in to the MAS using the Apple ID that you used for the original purchase, you should find your Affinity apps available for installation via the ‘Purchased’ tab.
