Mark Gedak Posted July 5, 2021 Posted July 5, 2021 I was working on a layout document in the Windows version of Affinity Publisher. I discovered that I could add a shortcut key to a style element. I added it as an Alt-B and for a single page it worked. When I went to the next page of layout the document froze. Now whenever I open the document it freezes quickly after launch. It only does this in the layout where I set the shortcut key. Since it freezes when I open the document, I can't seem to get at that style element to delete the shortcut key. Is there a workaround so that I don't have to start this layout program all over again? Quote

I don't recall seeing that reported before, but there are other reports of problems if you have the Text Styles panel configured to Show Samples. Create a new document with the setup of those which is freezing, additionally make a new text style with exact the same name you added the keyboard shortcut to, but this time leave out the keyboard shortcut. Rightclick on a page in the new document and pick Add Pages From File. You will be asked at one point, if you want to take over an already existing text style. Uncheck the box and add the pages. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
