BBkuro Posted July 4, 2021 Posted July 4, 2021 (edited) I'm using Affinity Designer version 1.9.2 now. I found a problem that I think It's may a bug. Here is how to reproduce it: 1. Create a Text Object (Frame Text or Artistic Text) 2. Create some object and put it into the Text 3. Then Convert the Text Object into Curve (Using Ctrl+Enter or Button on Context Bar) 4. This will happen (Look at Transform properties) It's all I know. This's my first time I have wrote bugs report (and also I'm a English Speaker). So If It's clear enough, please inform me. Thanks for reading this! Edited July 4, 2021 by BBkuro Quote
GarryP Posted July 4, 2021 Posted July 4, 2021 Welcome to the forums @BBkuro I would say that this was a bug. (If it’s not then I would like to hear some good reasoning for it.) As you say, the X/Y/W/H values of the layers that were inside the text before it was converted to curves get very large values that wouldn’t be expected. See my attached image which shows a similar issue – document is 1920×1080 pixels. BBkuro 1 Quote
Staff Sean P Posted July 5, 2021 Staff Posted July 5, 2021 Hi BBkuro, Thank you very much for the steps and screenshots. GarryP is correct - unfortunately the objects are getting very high transform values which is moving them way out of position making them disappear. This is something we do have logged with development and I will get your comments passed on. BBkuro 1 Quote
