SchöneFilmeMacher Posted July 4, 2021 Posted July 4, 2021 Hello everybody, the new fileformat HEIF allows effitient storage of high color depth, with SONY's standard directly out of the A7sIII and A1. You can store 10 bit 4:2:2 picture data, this is excellent and my Mac M1 BigSur can open it without any problem, but you Affinity Photo can not open them.(see attached messages) I am aware it is a container format, but Affinity should be able to open SONY and CANNON versions of this new modern Format. 😪 8BIT JPG is outdated 👨🦯 we all should change. Dear Affinity Team, please include this feature ASAP.. this is the format of Today 👍😃 in addtion to RAW. Quote
