Affinity Photo - after rotating an image a little, the cropping grid is also rotated. What if I want the cropping grid to be horizontal/vertical despite the rotation of the image? How do I do this?

@glenn4121 Sounds like you have rotated the canvas which will rotate the crop grid and the image.

Go to View > Reset Rotation

To rotate the image with the crop grid active move your cursor outside of the image and crop grid, left click and hold and move the cursor up or down to rotate clockwise or anti-clockwise.

In the status bar, bottom left, you have a few keystroke hints.

You can, but that is not what firstdefence was talking about above.
You can rotate with the Crop Tool instead.
See attached video and watch where the mouse pointer is and how it changes shape depending on where it is.
