eps files not working in AD

Hi

Shadows that I bought from photo stock sites (eps files) are not working in affinity designer, not sure why. This makes me having to use another software, and I would prefer not.

Can anyone guide in the right direction?

Just saying that something doesn’t work doesn’t give us much to work with.
When you ask questions please try and give as much useful information as you can.

Since you probably cannot share the EPS in public, please give us:
1. A link to the place you bought the EPS from, so we can see how it is supposed to look;
2. A full-screen screen-grab of the EPS in Designer, so we can see how it actually looks.
Once we have both we can compare and contrast and give suggestions.

Basically any eps file that is a shadow. I downloaded 3 or 4 and tried but not working. They work in other design software.

In AD, instead of showing the shadow, it shows the background of the shadow, but not the shadow itself. I now tried in AF and the same happens.

I have seen other people asking the same, or similar question so I guess it´s just just my inability
