Hi, I'm new here and would like your support to solve a problem with AP.

I use the AP since version 1.5 on this same PC Windows 10 and I never had this problem before - today I use version 1.9. When using layered editing, gradient tool, etc, the program hangs no longer responds and the only way out is to exit the program and restart it. After intensive use of some tools or layers, it locks again. I have a Dell PC with an I5-8400 processor, 2.8GHz and 8GB RAM, with an Intel Graphics Card 630.
I don't think this equipment has become insufficient for AP as I still use other software without any problem and clean my PC regularly with CCleaner.

Really would like to solve this (even if necessary change my PC) because I like AP and would turn it my unique software for editing.

Regards

Graphics programmes benefit from a lot of working memory. You only have 8 GB of RAM, part of which is used by the graphics card integrated in the CPU. Upgrading to 16 GB allows you to work in a more relaxed way.

But first you should make sure that the graphics card drivers are up to date. I would also recommend testing the beta version of APhoto. You can find the beta in the beta section here in the forum.
