Hi all, I am new to Affinity and just loving it. I am trying to replicate a Photoshop action (attached) using Macro's but I just cannot seem to get the steps right so I end up still having to keep Photoshop open all day just to run this one sharpening action. Is there anyone that can maybe help? It's a really great web sharpening action made by Alex Nail which I have been using for years and produces a pixel perfect web jpg which I just cannot get as crisp on Affinity.

Thanks in Advance

Mitchell

Hi and welcome to the forums @Mitchell Krog,

Sadly there are Adobe algorithms and Affinity algorithms and they do similar things with similar results. The resharpening that uses Adobe's algorithms may not be 100% possible using Affinity's algorithms. All I can say is to keep trying to get as close as you can. Work with a known TIFF file as a known reference in each program and keep tweaking the Affinity sharpening adjustments/filters until you are happy with the results then make your macro.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
