mokalovesoulmate Posted July 1, 2021 Posted July 1, 2021 Hello everyone. I want to create a photobook. I have a bunch of images from a directory, lets say I have 20 images. If I want to do it manually, I could put a Picture Frame with the size same as document Spread margin, and then "Replace Image", one by one, repeat it 20 times. But how I can do that automatically? Thanks! Quote
Old Bruce Posted July 1, 2021 Posted July 1, 2021 Hi and welcome to the forum @mokalovesoulmate Make your Picture Frame on the Master Page so you only have to do it once, you have "say I have 20 images. " So I am guessing 20 pages. Use the File > Place ... menu item and locate your images in the folder/directory and select all of them and then wait for all 20 to get loaded up. You can now click on each page and place one image in the frame on that page. I would set up the Frames on the Master Page to be showing the Scale to Min Fit that way you'll see all of it. The little buttons to the right of the Properties button will fit the frame to the picture or the picture to the frame. mokalovesoulmate 1 Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear. mokalovesoulmate Posted July 2, 2021 Author Posted July 2, 2021 Thank you @Old Bruce. Your guess is correct, its about 20 pages (21 if I could add my custom cover). I ended up by duplicating Master Page into 20 parts and choose my picture one by one as you said. However I cannot move all contents from Master Pages to Pages so I still need to manually Add Pages from a Master Pages. -- @carl123 @Lagarto Thanks for nice tip, this would be useful for automation. Will take a look later. Quote

One Master Page with a Picture Frame on it. 20 pages with the Master Page applied to them. Now each page will have a picture frame.
