Astrophotography stack not completing under 1.9.3 - worked great under 1.8.x

Hi, 

 

I'm trying to do an astrophotography stack, which worked great under 1.8 but the progress bar just quits part way through the astrophotography stack process under 1.9.3. The stacked image never appears in the stacked images panel. 

 

I tried to reduce the number of photos to 3 light, 3 dark and 3 bias (from 10-20). 7mb NEF files. 

 

Also turned off and on hardware acceleration, but no joy. 

 

I did get it to work with just a couple of 600k jpegs of each of the three types above, but the result looked awful! 

 

I'm using. 

 

macOS Big Sur version 11.4 

13 inch MacBook Pro 2020 two thunderbolt 3 ports 

 

1.4 ghz quadcore intel core i5

 

8gb ram

 

Intel Iris Plus Graphics 645 1536MB

Hey Matt,

We didn't have Astro stacking in 1.8 - do you mean an earlier version of 1.9?

You can try the beta which has had fixes for numerous things - 

Or you can supply us with the images you're stacking and we can give it a go for you and maybe see what's happening.
