So I just realised that the scroll wheel on my XP-Pen wasn't rotating the canvas (in Pixel Mode) as I had previously set it to do. A while back I noticed the Rotate option in the Pentablet settings wasn't working, so I devised a workaround to this by assigning shortcuts to Rotate Left and Right and then Customising them in the Pentablet settings.

The reason (I just worked out) the scroll wheel wasn't rotating the canvas in Pixel mode was because the shortcuts I assigned in Designer mode (for some reason) weren't assigned in Pixel Mode.

It's working now though because I assigned the same keys in Pixel mode to Rotate Left and Right. It seems you have to set keys in each mode separately, for some reason?

I'm not sure if this affects any keys I set.

In Preferences > Keyboard Shortcuts there is a checkbox "Apply to all." As I understand it, if you check it then (where possible) a shortcut you apply for one Persona will also apply to the others.

Not convinced this actually works as you describe, at least with me. I've created a shortcut to bring up the Assets studio, but that only works in Designer persona, not in Pixel persona, despite Apply to all being checked.

Same for me for the Assets panel, but I suspect that is an oversight, a programming error, & it should work for both personas in AD.

EDIT: The AD help topic says this:

  • Apply to all—If checked, the shortcut applied to a UI element is shared across every Persona. If unchecked, you can uniquely assign a custom shortcut to work just within the currently selected Persona in the initial Persona pop-up menu.

So it looks like this function is broken.
