Panoramic tool performance improvements

Hello,

Compared to PTGui we have much higher processing time and memory consumption, maybe Affinity Photo can match pictures using a downsampled version instead of the full-res, apart from using the GPU.

I am sometimes creating panoramic pictures of 100/200 pictures (24 MP each) converted to 16 bit TIFF and it's very hard to use Affinity Photo.

Can we expect some improvements sooner or later?
