Tex4aviation Posted June 29, 2021 Posted June 29, 2021 I am working on some 56 architectural pictures and I loose a lot of time with perspective corrections. It would make the process easier if I could just delete all the cameras and lenses I don't have, or configure the software to only show my lenses ? Quote
David in Яuislip Posted June 29, 2021 Posted June 29, 2021 Well you can if you don't mind an unorthodox approach Go to C:\Program Files\Affinity\Photo\Resources Find lens-correction-data.dat rename e.g. lens-correction-dataOLD.dat Copy required .xml files to C:\ProgramData\Affinity\Photo\1.0\LensProfiles Restart Photo, tada Entirely unguaranteed, use at your own risk but it works on Windows 10 if any mod. sees this please don't tell the devs. what I done The lens profiles are available here https://github.com/lensfun/lensfun/tree/master/data/db Quote Microsoft Windows 11 Home, Intel i7-1360P 2.20 GHz, 32 GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Intel Iris Xe Affinity Photo - 24/05/20, Affinity Publisher - 06/12/20, KTM Superduke - 27/09/10
P_Monty Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 Not sure what hardware you're using, but on the Mac version when you select the lens you can 'favourite' a lens and show only recent or favourite lenses if that helps. Quote

However, there is an online Lens Correction help topic that does mention this feature & explains how to mark a lens as a favorite. That'll be my fault for using the copy link button at the bottom of the (lens correction) page instead of copying the link from the previous (lens panel) page. Weird or what? Weird or what? For the online help topics I have noticed that the 'copy' button copies a link to the first topic selected, even if I then use one of the other links in that topic to open one of the other linked topics. So my guess is you first opened the "Lens panel (Develop Persona only)" help topic & then in the "Available Adjustments:" section you clicked on the Lens Correction link. If it works for you like it does for me, that copies the wrong link to the clipboard. I suspect that the poor linking is because of the use of <iframe>s but rather than delving into the html I am going to open another beer Quote Microsoft Windows 11 Home, Intel i7-1360P 2.20 GHz, 32 GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Intel Iris Xe Affinity Photo - 24/05/20, Affinity Publisher - 06/12/20, KTM Superduke - 27/09/10
