vogelap Posted June 29, 2021 Posted June 29, 2021 I've got a numbered list in my document. In some of the numbered items, the first word is bolded; in others, it is not. The numbers are also bolded and unbolded. Is there a way to make all the numbers bold? Quote

In the Bullets and Numbering section of the Text Style you're using (or in the Paragraph panel if you're not using a Text Style) you'll find the function you want. In a Text Style it will look like this: If all you want is Bold, you should be able to simply change that [No Style] to Strong (one of the choices in the pulldown list). If you wanted additional characteristics, you could define a new Character Text Style, and then choose it from the pulldown list. In the Paragraph panel you'll find that field here: Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. vogelap Posted June 29, 2021 Author Posted June 29, 2021 Thank you @walt.farrell! You answered my question (and fast!) and I learned a few things... I am still very new to Affinity Publisher. I used PageMaker a loooong time ago and DTP has progressed a lot since then. I'm reading the excellent Affinity Publisher Workbook every day... Today I learned about the Paragraph panel and the Text Style panel to fix the issue I was having with bullets. Along the way, I learned about inline graphics and setting them to Baseline or Descender... Descender made my document look better, so I'm using that now! Thanks again for your assistance. walt.farrell 1 Quote
