JamesOracle Posted June 29, 2021 Posted June 29, 2021 I've bought Affinity Photo iPad version for a while; also bought the MacOS version today. But, the downloadable content on my iPad version simply CANNOT be synchronized or downloaded into my iPad. Please help fix the bug. Thanks. BTW, I wanted to upload the error message picture so that you guys could see it, but this server somehow keep telling me: "The was a problem uploading the file"..... a very small file only 230kb..... Please also fix it. The downloadable content on my iPad version cannot be sync'ed or downloaded to my iPad Quote
walt.farrell Posted June 29, 2021 Posted June 29, 2021 Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @JamesOracle. I'm surprised that you can't upload a screenshot of the error message you get when trying to synch, but can you at least tell us exactly what it said? JamesOracle Posted July 1, 2021 Author Posted July 1, 2021 Version 1.9.2, iOS 14.6. I was talking about the free packs coming with the purchase: "Dust Brushes" and "Sunlight Effect". Just cannot download them, no matter what methods I tried..... Quote

Have you tried opening the app and logging in to your account (the person symbol top right of screen) when you first open the app. When logged in it should show you all content available to your account. JamesOracle Posted July 2, 2021 Author Posted July 2, 2021 I tried rebooting iPad & re-login to Affinity account. And it worked. I can now download the content. Thanks a lot for the advice. However, I bought some additional paid-packs, including brushes & artworks, together with the MacOS desktop version, but, some packs are not shown here within the iPad version. How can I also retrieve every pack I paid & use them all in my iPad version? Quote

If you used the same Affinity account to purchase both the iPad version and the Mac version, then they should all show up in My Account on your iPad, too, unless they are not compatible with the iPad version. Click the "More" icon (circle with 3 dots) in My Account and you may have an option to "List Incompatible Packs" (the desktop version has that; not sure about iPad). If that shows the other items that would mean they are not compatible with that application (or not compatible for automatic download) or not compatible with the iPad version of that application.
