tajunione Posted June 29, 2021 Posted June 29, 2021 (edited) I use an Apple MacBook Air laptop, and have purchased Affinity Photo, Affinity Designer, and Affinity Publisher. I don't own an iPad but my husband does. iPads don't have dual login capability. If I was to purchase one or more of the iPad versions of my current Affinity programs for use on my husband's iPad, would it matter whose email address I used for the purchase (as my husband's identity is attached to the iPad and mine is not, while my identity is attached to the other Affinity programs on my laptop)? Would switching between files on the laptop and on the iPad be problematic if the software was purchased with different email addresses (see question above)? Would it be a problem that the iPad is set up to use my husband's Dropbox rather than mine? Affinity is the only reason I'd use an iPad so I cannot justify buying one. Thanks! The email address would not make any difference. If both devices are in same house you should be able to use Airdrop to transfer between them. Not as convenient as using same iCloud account on both but workable. DM1 Posted June 29, 2021 Posted June 29, 2021 The iPad can login into your Dropbox account if you enter your login/password. The affinity apps permits family sharing among up to 6 family members ( from memory). In short, no, you should not have any problems.
