Adobe Assets Compatibility, Photoshop, Illustrator - Brushes, Patterns, Styles are they compatible

Recommended Posts

I'm looking at Illustrator Styles and wondering if they're compatible with Designer as Photoshop Brushes are with Affinity Photo.

Maybe the short answer is "No".

Tried looking.  Got 8 pages of results, none of the first I looked at addressed the specific question, so maybe this time will be a definitive answer for me and others who might be looking and wondering.

Styles are not compatible at all, as far as I know, unlike brushes which are somewhat compatible.

I doubt that patterns are compatible, either.

That's correct Walt, the native .pat files aren't compatible with Affinity.

There was a workaround posted on this thread a few years ago but you do need access to PS and I've no idea if that method would still work
