Katarzyna Kantarowska
Is it normal that the CMYK color profile document looks different from Adobe Illustrator. CMYK in Affinity Designer looks like RGB. Could you please help me? Export to pdf shows the colors properly. However, it is hard to work with such RBG fluorescent colors. walt.farrell
Your question seems to be about Designer, but you posted in the forum for Publisher Beta on Windows. First, please confirm which application (Designer, Publisher) you're asking about, and which version (retail, beta) you're using. Next, it would help if you provided a screenshot of what you're seeing. You can just have Windows take the screenshot, and you can paste it into a post here or attach the file here. Katarzyna Kantarowska
Hi Walt, Thanks for your reply:) I was asking about Affinity designer version 1.9.1.979. I am sending you the screenshots. Sorry for the mess of misplacing the problem. Thank you for your help. Kate
walt.farrell
Thanks for the added info and screenshots. I'm not sure what's going on there. Can you include the Layers panel in a screenshot, too, please? And maybe one with part of the image selected and the Color panel showing? BofG
That does seem odd. Can you do the following: Windows Key+R Type into the run box "colorpnl.exe" Post a screenshot of the info panel that comes up Katarzyna Kantarowska
walt.farrell
Here is what that color looks like on mine: It does look like a possible issue with the color profile you have assigned to your monitor. Katarzyna Kantarowska
Alert in English: System window cannot find "colorpnl.exe". Please make sure that the name entered is correct and try again. I think that the problem is not related with monitor color profile. Please look at screenshot attached where you can see pdf file and affinity on the same screen.

Please look at screenshot attached where you can see pdf file and affinity on the same screen. Your colour panel is far too bright for the profile you have (and for pretty much any profile). The only things I believe it could be are either the monitor profile, or your FOGRA profile somehow being incorrect (which is unlikely).
