killzen Posted June 27, 2021 Posted June 27, 2021 it may be cumbersome to generate camera profiles (Raw -> DNG -> Xrite tool -> camera profile) but if there were some integration in Affinity Photo (read and apply profiles either in RAW interface of after developing the RAW file) it would greatly add to the functionality of the software. Perhaps a stand alone Camera to ICC profile converter? Either way, please consider this as of now there is no way to apply data obtained from the Xrite passport to the image. kresso Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 I agree that it would be great to add an automatic way of adding the color correcting of the XRITE color checkers. I LOVE how this works in davinci resolve. It is fantastic, and would make color correcting for photography so nice. Quote
kirk23 Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 I use lut layer . It does have a nice feature Photoshop doesn't. inferLUT button allows you to choose a picture pair . original and a target with colors corrected . You can choose an original photo of checker and and the one where colors are set as they intended to be by books and save a color correcting LUT preset. I have no idea how precise it is but looks fine to me. Quote
