All seems to work as expected here, either exporting the Whole document to export all Artboards to a single PDF or as individual pages by selecting the relevant Artboard from the Area drop down on export.

The Selection Area and Selection Only options are not what you would use here if that is the cuase of the problem (based on the discussion in your linked post)...

I've added an update to that post...

Hi JeffreyDriver,

As Hangman has said 'Whole Document' works for me and exports each artboard to its individual page in the PDF with bleed. Confusingly your export settings option does show this selected? Have you tried exporting with this mode selected?

There is a known issue that bleed isn't going out with ;Selection Area/Selection Only so I can only assume thats what you actually had selected. I'll get this bumped and passed on to development.

Certainly that is the case with Selection Area but it seems to work as expected with Selection Only (as far as I can tell) but maybe I'm missing something here...

The missing thing here is the ability to export artboards + bleed but not the whole document or single artboards only.

Since the area setting appears as an option to limit the export range to certain artboards it indicates to export artboards with bleed if artboards are selected (e.g. with the artboard tool) and the bleed option is chosen before the area option. It works to export selected artboards – but lacks in bleed.

Do you see a way to export   +  some artboards only  +   with bleed  +   in 1 PDF?

I now (finally) understand the issue which is mentioned in the thread linked to in the previous post, it basically isn't possible to export Selected Artboards (e.g. 2, 5, 6, and 9) that include both bleed and crop marks into a single PDF...

In addition to this missing bleed I wonder if AD's export persona works as wanted ('by design') by exporting each artboard as single file only – or should either do it always or via an option to export all selected artboards in 1 PDF only.
