Name of Gradient tool and Fill tool

Designer differs to Photo: you have a separate transparency tool (glass as symbol) which i would love to have in Photo. 
As Designer splits color from transparency into 2 tools, i think this deserves its own name.

As I understand it, this is not entirely accurate. Transparency tool is indeed a different tool, but the fill tool in Designer does the same thing as the gradient tool in Photo, including the ability to set the opacity of the color stops.

Maybe there is another difference.
