copy paste an image into a table

Faced with the impossibility of switching from pageplus to publisher, I try to recover my (integrated) images using copy paste. The video shows some rather confusing behavior (I had to use affinity photo to make it happen). In this video an image is copied from pageplus then copied to affinity publisher. the image is distorted. This same copy is use to create an image with affinity photo, then copied and then pasted into affinity publisher. The result is edifying.

Why not exporting to PDF with best quality from PagePlus and opening in APu? Seems to me a faster method than copypasting every single image.

Simply because importing the pdf I created with pageplus does not give a table as shown in the video.

Okay, I see. I do not have PagePlus, so I can't test. Maybe you should try the following:

a) Preferences >> General: Copy items as SVG

or

b) Check whether Edit >> Paste Special is available for you. Normally there are some options. Unfortunately you can only create a keyboard shortcut for Paste Special, but not for one of the options.

I can't find Copy items as SVG and the various special bonding tests do not make it possible to obtain a table.
