Ujjwal.m Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Change units from Pixels to Inches as default settings and not make changes every time I open a new image. Also, while saving I want to have 300 dpi as the default. How do I do these? Quote
walt.farrell Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @Ujjwal.m. Images (JPG, TIFF, PNG) that you Open will always be in Pixels. You can only control the default for new documents that you create. They will also be in whatever DPI the original file was; you can't control that, either, except for new documents that you create. For new documents that you create, use a new document Preset or Template that specifies the units and DPI you want. If there isn't a default Preset or Template, you can create your own Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
