Publisher / Datamerge updating content bug?

Hi,

I have noticed (on Mac and Windows) that Publisher does not reliably update the changed content of all merged fields when switching the datasources pages (Excel generated xlsx). Using the scrollwheel to zoom out and back in helps to resolve this. Its as if some fields get stuck with the previous values.

I've just tried replicating this on MacOS and haven't been able to.  As zooming in and out resolves it for you, it sounds like a redraw issue.  However, i'd still like to be able to replicate this.  Would you be able to upload your afpub file and xlsx file to our Dropbox here.

Hi,

I made a new version of my files, cause the originals are confidential. But the specialty is a placed PDF as designelemts.

Maybe that is the cause for it all. I will upload the two files..

I also uploaded ashort screenrecording showing, when it is updating correctly and when it does not. Looks like it has to do with selecting and unselecting the fields (inside tables in this case).

Hope it helps finding the cause.

some updates later, the „redraw“ issue is still there. And driving me crazy.
