Custard Apple
So I've loaded an .eps containing many different logos on a transparent background. No matter what I do, when I select objects and make an artboard around a particular area, I lose the background transparency. The artboard always creates a solid white background. It's just a standard Affinity file setting that controls (for all kinds of documents) whether the background is transparent or not.
