Bold Venture Posted June 25, 2021 Posted June 25, 2021 Users can update/change graphics when editing in Adobe Photoshop and Affinity Photo ... Graphics automatically update in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Publisher. However, when working with InDesign, changes made in Microsoft Word apparently don't update the placed text. Has Affinity a workaround for changes in text? When I create an eBook in MS Word and a paperback layout in InDesign, I have to make changes in both Word and InDesign. If Affinity Publisher could actually LINK to the word file, and changes in word were reflected in Publisher, it would be a game-changer in saving time and keeping files accurate. Quote

No. Going back to when i was using Indesign (years and years and years) I think there was an attempt at this but it would strip out all the text formatting done in InDesign each time there was a change in the linked/placed text/word document. This rendered it utterly useless. Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
