Aaron Martin Posted June 23, 2021 Posted June 23, 2021 Hi , i noticed a line around the notification field thats specially noticeable on dark background, i thought it would only be like this while rendered on screen, but the exported PNG and JPEG also has this white ish line, Theres no glow, border is transparent and theres also a shadow effect on it which made me conclude all the more reason this could be a bug. I sent the photo and the original file for inspection. ThanksWeather as OS Default Wallpaper Concept .afdesign Quote
Staff MEB Posted June 23, 2021 Staff Posted June 23, 2021 Hi @Aaron Martin, Select the parent (clipping) shape of these "groups" and set its fill colour to transparent (no fill) instead of white. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Staff Sean P Posted June 23, 2021 Staff Posted June 23, 2021 Hi Aaron, Unfortunately this can happen when you have an object with a light fill, being clipped by other objects. The anti-aliasing on these objects causes a slight bleed to appear. In your case the containing notification object has a White Fill (as MEB says), where as the contents is an image inside that is clipped to that curve. This causes a slight bit of bleed. Simply removing this will make that issue go away. Other ways so solve it (depending on your needs) is that you can turn Anti-Aliasing off on that object using the Blend Ranges dialog. I've attached a copy of your file, with just one artboard, and those groups renamed (and fixed one) to help illustrate my point. Weather as OS Default Wallpaper Concept_Resaved .afdesign Quote
