brunoczech Posted June 22, 2021 Share Posted June 22, 2021 Hi, Very strange thing here. I've got A4 document with 4 sections - each has exactly same picture frame with exactly same picture linked. The same properties, too. However when exported, one of the picture frame is washed out and much lighter than the other ones. Each frame has 25% opacity, same everywhere. I've tried everything - copying frames by copy/paste, copy by dragging, creating brand new frame with the same linked image... Nothing works. How is this possible? It's not always the bottom right as you can see on the screenshots. For example if I Option-Drag the top right to the left, then the top right becomes washed out. But sometimes it's the new frame, I'm not able to follow the pattern. Well, is there a fix to this? I need to send it to the printer and I'm quite concerned of the outcome. Maybe I wasn't clear at first - there is only this one section that's washed out as compared to the other three. You can easily see the difference between the three sections and the bottom right one. Still just looking for differences, in case they help explain what's happening, I see that the other 3 Picture Frames each have a .2pt white stroke. The misbehaving one has a .3pt black stroke. Is that intentional? I've set all these picture frames' opacity to 100%, drew a white rectangular covering the whole document with opacity set to 70% and it works. Still don't understand why is this happening though. Is that also intentional? I definitely did not set up any strokes, must be a another mistake of mine... But even after changing strokes to 0, it's still the same output. But guess what - I made sure there are no fills or strokes on these layers, exported the file and now two sections are washed out! 😃 I've got no idea anymore... I exported it with the PDF for Print preset and the Two on the left are visibly darker. Then I moved all the frames away from the centre and exported it again and all seem to be closer. I think there may have been some overlap causing the problem. Before moving After moving away from centre (Up/Down and Out by two nudges) The Images themselves are still overlapping in the middle but are cropped by the frames.
