How to make Golden colour designs in APub

Hi,

How can I make my designs in APub. the  golden textures like the one in attached file.Please help.

If you only have APub then Noise (for texture) and a Gradient is one simple/quick option for a gold effect.

I have the AD as well ..In gradient option the golden colour is too plain ,matte finish kind of ...Could any one share a good luxurious golden colour and/ silver palette to me.

You also have the option of using gold Styles

You download the attachments then go into your Styles panel and import them.

Then select a text frame and apply the (various) styles to it

Did you do that?

Hi Carl. Do we have any silver metallic Affinity style resources, handy, just like this gold texture resources you provided me?

Try changing the underlying Colour which was applied by the Style – see attached video.

This was my take on the look, I used Gold Texture Styles by Claudia Phoenyx 1 style 14 for the gold effect, I had to edit the fx to get the right directional shadows and reduce them a bit so it wasn't so embossed, then created a gradient as wide as the text a very dark green RGB: 24, 24, 9 on the left and a pale green on the right RGB: 210, 210, 200 I set the layer blend mode to Glow and reduced the opacity to 50% I also added a 1.7px gaussian blur to the fx with transparency protect checked to soften the texture.

The only things I couldn't do in Affinity Designer were DOF blur and altering the perspective properly.
