ericosmosNEW
So, I am trying to reduce K-values in my colors, therefore I try to choose cmy values for various greytones etc. Now when I use a certain color and then color pick it there are changes in the cmyk values (less cmy values + added k value). Is that on purpose? Why is that? IMG_1003.MP4

Staff DWright Posted June 24, 2021 Staff Share Posted June 24, 2021 Hi @ericosmosNEW, I have been trying to replicate this issue on my 1st gen 9.7 iPad Pro and the new M1 iPad Pro and I have not been able to do so is it possible for you to use the DropBox link below to send me a copy of the .afphoto file this is happening on so that I can investigate further. https://www.dropbox.com/request/yzTZYum0mgv9DTx7MyrH
ericosmosNEW
I don’t think it is a .afphoto file problem because it is happening in every file. So, if you fill a space with a grey that you have created with the cmyk sliders only from cm & y (So, black is 0), your color picker will identify that color with the exact same values and not suddenly add black (k-values) while reducing the cmy values? Could you demonstrate that to me in a video? To me it looks like Affinity isn’t honoring the cmyk numbers and deliberately changing the cmyk mix for whatever reason. Note rectangle CMYK set to 50% black to 0. Use colour picker and note settings have now changed the initial settings and reintroduced black.
