pedromartins
Hi! I can't enable Hardware Acceleration on Affinity Photo & Design versions 1.9.2.1035. It tells me that requires Windows 10.0.19042. But my OS is Windows 10 Home 10.0.19043. I have a NVIDIA GeForce GT730. What am I missing?
walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. As you have met one of the two requirements (proper Windows version), the conclusion to reach is that you don't have a "modern GPU". Run the dxdiag command from a command prompt. Switch to the Display tab, and look at the DirectX Support. It must support DirectX 12 (12_1). Just curious (I don't have a Windows computer) but if one gets this notice & clicks the "Yes" button for more info, does that provide enough info to understand why the configuration is unsupported? Last time I tried it it took me to the topic in the Photo Beta forum that describes the requirements, if I remember correctly.
