thomaso
I would expect that the Transparency Gradient Tool applied to a parent object would affect a.) all instances/properties of this object and b.) its children, too. Instead the transparency affects only its fill color (background behind nested child) + its stroke partially (its inner parts) – whereas it works as expected on objects with a higher layer hierarchy level (e.g. Layer layer and Group). v193 transp-tool on container layers.m4v As a workaround I could apply the gradient to the child with disadvantages/restrictions: • the gradient would require to become adjusted if the parent layer gets changed in its dimensions (e.g. to alter the clipped area of the child). • the parent container wouldn't be affected by transparency, respectively its fill and stroke. Staff Gabe Posted June 17, 2021 Staff Share Posted June 17, 2021 Hi @thomaso, This is by design for all "low level" objects. I'll move this to feature requests. Wosven
