reflexibel
Hello I create a special character via ALT-0174 and get a ®. But it is not possible for me to superscript it in Publisher. What am I doing wrong?
Alfred
Most fonts don’t include specific glyphs for superscript versions of characters such as registered trademark and copyright symbols. If you want to push the R-in-a-circle higher up, use the Baseline Shift control in the ‘Positioning and Transform’ section of the Character panel. It depends on the font itself if you are able to superscript it from Typography. But you can try from the pulldown in Position and Transform. Yes, that’s another possibility. Since the ® symbol is already small and raised off the baseline, I was just thinking in terms of pushing it higher up as the OP described. walt.farrell 1 Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.3.1 (iPad 7th gen)
