[Fixed] Exporting to SVG wrong color

Recommended Posts

I made a single octogon, set the color to red, export to SVG, the color is green!???!

Here's the exported svg

<?xml version="1.0" standalone="no"?>
<!DOCTYPE svg PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD SVG 1.1//EN" "http://www.w3.org/Graphics/SVG/1.1/DTD/svg11.dtd">
<svg width="100%" height="100%" viewBox="0 0 256 256" version="1.1" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" xml:space="preserve" style="fill-rule:evenodd;clip-rule:evenodd;stroke-linejoin:round;stroke-miterlimit:1.41421;">
    <g transform="matrix(0.924148,-0.382036,0.382036,0.924148,-39.1915,58.6097)">
        <g id="Layer1">
            <path d="M128,22L202.953,53.047L234,128L202.953,202.953L128,234L53.047,202.953L22,128L53.047,53.047L128,22Z" style="fill:rgb(3,49,28);"/>

You can see the color is not red - fill:rgb(3,49,28)

color format is RGB/8

color profile is sRGB IEC61966-2.1

Attached the file in case it helps and I'm not just doing something stupid.

Hi greggman :)

Would you be able to attach the .afdesign file - I can't seem to see it? There's a chance we fixed this the other day, but I'll know for sure if I can take a look at your file and see if it now succeeds in my build :)

Hi greggman

The issue here is with the ColourMatch RGB profile. It seems to be misbehaving at the moment.

Luckily you can circumvent this. On the colour tabs if you switch to RGB sliders then click on one of the sliders (you don't have to move them) it will export as red instead of green. Alternatively you could switch to another colour profile
