I would love to somehow tag a text or a paragraph and have it quickly Format for all similar tags. Similar to like how a header in html works.

h1 is the biggest header correct? Any text tagged with h1 on the affinity designer canvas will be changed when marked or tagged. I. Hope that makes sense.

This is me just trying to get things done more efficiently. Any other ideas how to achieve this?

On the desktop, all the Affinity applications support Text Styles. One such style, for example, is Heading 1. Any text "tagged" as Heading 1 automatically gets the style attributes associated with that text style. Text Styles can be assigned to text using the Context Toolbar, or the Character panel, or the Paragraph panel, and edited using the Text Styles panel.

I'm not an iPad user, but doesn't Designer there have the same capabilities?

do you know of it’s possible to get an automatic Loren ipsum demo text on affinity designer?

It would be called "filler text", if it's supported. I would expect the iPad version to have it, too, but I don't know where. Perhaps an iPad user will comment.

There is currently no “filler text” feature in the iPad apps. It may well be added when the iPad version of Publisher is released, but that’s not guaranteed (and in any case we still don’t know how long we’ll have to wait for APub on iPad).
