export vector file without convering lines into curves

Recommended Posts

Lines are curves, so there should be no conversion involved. Please explain more about what you’re trying do with the exported files, and where you’re trying to do it.

I open these exported files in Adobe illistrator

An exported SVG file containing simple strokes opens correctly for me in AD on iPad. I don’t have access to Adobe Illustrator.

When i export file in eps or svg it convert all the lines into the curves.

If you open the exported svg back in Designer do you see expanded curves.

I refer to a statement from DanC in another post “ the SVG format doesn't support Curve objects with pressure applied, so these will always be 'expanded' on export.”

If the curves have been expanded, check to see if they have pressure applied. You can select objects and reset pressure in the Stroke studio.
