Guides in Affinity Photo for iPad

Recommended Posts

I have a question about guides. I’m not sure if it’s a glitch or if I’m missing a setting somewhere, but why is it when I turn my guides off on a document in Affinity Photo for iPad, then return to my Home Screen, the guides automatically show up again when I reopen the document? Isn’t there a way to keep them off until I want to turn them back on again?

Hi @KellyP2P,
It shouldn't show the guides for a document if you turned them off. I'm logging this to be looked at. Thanks for reporting it.

I reported this before, it’s the row and column guides not the basic guides.

Hi Paul,
It affects the basic guides, column guides, margins and also the grid. The "show" control is not honoured with any of them if you close/reopen a doc.

Yep! It's the everything you mentioned!
