ashf
I would like you to implement Note tool like Photoshop to Affinity that can place sticky notes on the document. It's useful for reviewing document/feedback or explaining content to another designer.

Then drag them to the assets panel, preferably create an extra category for them. To use them drag them into your design. You could place all of them in a seperate group layer and turn them on and off. Only function missing with this method: there is no listing of all the notes scattered across your design. But if you keep them in a seperate group layer the layers panel should work as a basic listing. d. Quote Affinity Suite on Windows (V2) and iPad (V2). Beta testing when available. Aren’t assets installation rather than document level meaning your notes would be scattered across every document you create or open? The idea is that you have blank notes in the assets panel. And yes they are available in the application. But by dragging note assets into a document you turn them into an instance that is only available in this particular document. And there it get's modified by entering text. Modifying an assets text does not alter the original (blank) asset. Note: you can even create a 'note layer' that contains already one note and make that an asset. That way you have automatically all notes in a seperate layer and can show or hide them. d. Quote Affinity Suite on Windows (V2) and iPad (V2). Beta testing when available. ashf
it's little different from what you're thinking. it's more like the Comment tool of MS Office.http://www.photoshopforphotographers.com/CC_2013/Help_guide/tp/Annotation_tools.html

No, not exactly the same as MS Office, please see the linked page. Photoshop way is that small sticky note icon is placed on the document and when you click it, the comment is shown on the Notes panel. Similar to online design feedback service such as Invision. Ok, just suggesting a possible workaround. ashf

Once you set it for a layer (right-click menu) then its text will appear in the a preflight list. A click on its page number selects the object in layout & layers panel, "fix" does delete it. This comment's warning behavior can be set in the preflight prefs, e.g. you could define a preset which only shows comments. Quite subtle appearance compared to sticky notes but interesting that these comments are sticking to objects, this maybe helpful for a feature improvement of their appearance. dominik and ashf 2 Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1
