I’m trying to make Celtic trefoil knots on an 11” iPad Pro. I’ve tried a few processes using the geometry tools; add, divide and so on; but it does not give me very clean results. It sometimes adds dozens of misc nodes on the divides and errant internal nodes on the add operations as if it is creating multi part shapes instead of one solid shape. It just doesn’t create the clean shapes I began with. Maybe the iPad version is not up to it

I’d be surprised. I’m booleaning (not a word, but hey) all the time. If you can show some screen captures of before, then after, I might be able to see what’s happening.

Words are crude implements, difficult to get perfect, easy to get tied in knots with, and often - usually - misunderstood, which is why 'tolarence' is the best word of all.

The word "professional" fits us all - amateur, semi-pro, beginner, advanced, middle, beyond it all, and on....., because professionals are tolerant.

Hi Jmack,

If you could provide the screen captures ProDesigner asked for we should be able to look into this with you.

Thanks
