Hello,

If you open a PDF in Publisher which is showing as single page, but is supposed to be for KDP publishing for a lined journal...  I'm confused.  Can it be changed to facing pages?

I successfully added a master page...nut I'm stuck now.

Single vs. facing pages are in a PDF only viewing options, means depending on the viewing app you have options to switch between single and facing view. As long the PDF was exported from a layout which has been set to facing pages during layout but got exported as single pages then this PDF will be fine for KDP or any other print shop, too.

If you open a PDF in APub you can switch it to facing pages by activating its checkbox in "Document Setup…" > Layout.

Note: facing pages are sets of two single & separable pages – whereas "spreads" are single pages in the dimensions + the content of two single pages of a facing page document. Spreads in a PDF can't get toggled between single and facing page view, and can't get divided into two pages for correct printing.

Yay!  "Document setup was what it needed.  Thank you!
