switch to the Pixel Persona for brushes

Recommended Posts

Hello,
I bought brushes but I see that they are for Affinity Photo and I would like to use them in Affinity Designer.
Author says: "Open your preferred Affinity desktop app.
We are using Affinity Photo, but if you are using Affinity Designer, you will first need to switch to the Pixel Persona, since these are raster brushes."

But he doesn't say how.
I'm good at drawing but new to Affinity.
Can you help.
Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forums @Bozzka🙂 if you will click on the little icon at the right next to the Designer icon at the top left of your desktop you will switch to the pixel personna.  When you open the Brushes panel VIEW>Studio>then be sure Brushes has a check mark beside it you will be able to import raster brushes (the same kind used in Photo).  Hope this helps.

Thanks so much! It was what I was looking for.
It's all complicated also because I have the Designer in Italian as the guide, but the description on the brushes was in English. I didn't understand that "swith to pixel person".
Who knows how many things I will still have to look for.
Thank you!
