First B/W image, 2 cats

It helps to get feedback on photo manipulation work if you share both the ‘before’ and ‘after’ images.
It also helps if you give some information about what you have done so people can get more of an appreciation of the work that has been put into it.
Otherwise, a cynic, in this case, may just think: “Yeah, they’ve put a Black and White Adjustment over it, so what?”

Very wise information I had not thought about, I will do better next time

B&W conversion has many possibilities. various proportions of grey shades can be obtained by converting to bw using hsl/channel mixer/apply image/vibrance . it will be interesting to experiment. your image is relatively flat. i would have further adjusted for more local contrast and tonal separation. ofcourse,its a personal choice .

Thanks for the info, it's my first attempt at black and white. I'll do some experimenting
