Photo persona/ Edit Preferences causes crash

Recommended Posts

Fails everytime either with a regular document open or with a new document containing nothing

Also, <ctrl>H doesn't toggle the selection like Photo does, need to use the menu which is tedious!!

Publisher version 1.9.2.1035

Microsoft Windows 11 Home, Intel i7-1360P 2.20 GHz, 32 GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Intel Iris Xe
Affinity Photo - 24/05/20, Affinity Publisher - 06/12/20, KTM Superduke - 27/09/10

Ctrl+H doesn't do anything in Photo, either, by default.

If it does for you, you must have customized your Keyboard Shortcuts in Photo, and you'll need to do that in the Photo Persona of Publisher, too, to get that same function

Edit > Preferences doesn't fail in Publisher for me, in any Persona. If it's failing for you and you get a crash report you might provide it for diagnosis.

Also, you can edit the Preferences from one of the other Personas if it works there, as the Preferences are application-wide, not specific to a Persona.

Ha ha, I'd forgotten that it was one of mine ;-)

I'll look for the crash report and attach it, thanks for the suggestion

Actually, I've found them
