jaber
Hi I'm a long-term inkscape user and although is a very complete svg editor it is really slow. So I'm trying Affinity Designer which is quite speedy on macos, but... ... We use svg not only for designing but as a platform for displaying information using javascript for locating and modifying objects. For that use case, in inkscape We use the title, label and description properties to address and control each significative object (id is not an option since can be repeated elements). SVGs generated this way can be opened with Affinity Designer without any problem, but We can't or don't know how to edit that properties. Is it possible to edit that properties in Affinity Designer? are there any mechanisms to mark objects in a way that will be possible to access objects programmatically? v_kyr
Hi, AFAIK no there isn't any way to setup/customize object properties. - Just the way of assigning explicite layer group names etc. as IDs on SVG export, as far as you've named those accordingly.
