Chip J.
After making a selection, I lose all graphical histogram representation in the curves tool. To recreate issue: Open file Make adjustment using Curves (histogram is shown) Create a selection (histogram disappears in Curves adjustment tool. Delete selection and problem still exists Delete previous Curves adjustment and problem still exists. Nothing I do, will bring back the original graphical representation on the Curves tool. NotMyFault
I have the same issue, but its mainly lack of patience: it can take several seconds until the histogram gets displayed (>10). What sometimes helps: Switch to "move" tool" Click the yellow triangle in the histogram panel Open curves layer again Can you try again and wait ... a lot? NotMyFault - Thank you for the your response. Switching to the "move tool" did the trick. None of the other suggestions worked for me, but at least I do have a work around now. Affinity Team - While I now have a workaround, please look into this issue. I also experience same issue with the "Levels" adjustment. Staff Chris B Posted May 24, 2021 Staff Share Posted May 24, 2021 Hey Mesquito, I think this is because the marching ants are quite heavy on the CPU and the histograms outside of the Develop Persona are not prioritised by the CPU so as NotMyFault says, it often takes time. I believe I already have an improvement logged for this so I will go and update it with your feedback—thank you. PhotoCat
I went through Mesquito's original process and the histogram, in color, stayed visible as I was applying the selection brush and after I deleted the marching ants. No issues. I have version 1.92.

I waited ~30 minutes and it never returned. My best option at this point is what 'NotMyFault' suggested by moving focus off the selection brush.
